Samsung is definitely in love with the faux leather texture
it’s putting on its newest line of smartphones. In fact, it’s so into the fake
leather feel that it has decided to bring the design element into its latest
Chrome OS-powered device – the Samsung Chromebook 2.
The new Chromebook will be offered in two versions – an 11-inch
model which features a 1366 x 768 resolution display, an octa-core processor
similar to the one on the recently launched Galaxy S5, 4GB of RAM and 16GB of
internal storage. Meanwhile, the 13-inch version of the Chromebook 2 that
offers a higher 1080p resolution display.
In the software department, the new Chromebooks will get
Google Hangouts and Samsung’s AirDroid service for free for an entire year.
The Samsung Chromebook 2 13-inch edition will be available
next month for $400 while the smaller 11-inch version will be priced at around
$320.
