The first HTC One Mini didn’t really took the world by storm
mostly due to a number of factors including shortages
in the phone’s components as well as some internal issues involving the
departure of the company’s top executives. But will the phone’s successor be
any different?
HTC hasn’t revealed anything yet about the One Mini 2.
Fortunately, popular internet tipster @evleaks was able to get a hold of a
press photo of the handset.
According to the leaked photo, the smartphone will be
offered in three colour options – grey, silver and gold to match the options
available for its bigger brother the One M8. The design of the new One Mini 2
is very close to the full-size M8 with front-facing dual speakers and brushed
metal body. However, there One Mini 2 won’t have the dual-camera setup on the
M8, which will instead have a 13MP camera.
As for the rest of the specs, the handset is rumoured to
have a 4.5-inch screen with 720p resolution, a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of
RAM, 16GB of internal storage and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 on top.
